Shifting into Oneness
The most seminal issue of the Wise Woman is Unity Consciousness. As we are EMPTY enough to see through the checkerboard of duality, through Unity's shining face, the world transforms around us into heaven on Earth.
Thus the primary focus for this moon is seeing through the checkerboard of the appearance of duality, until you are looking at reality through the eyes of Oneness. We will be looking at what is still trapped in the checkerboard of duality and thus judgment in you that is requiring attention and energy to move or change.
HOW the shift into Oneness happens is the work of this moon.
This moon heralds the conscious setting in place of the Transpersonal Witness consciousness in you that dis-identifies with all roles and thus becomes free to play any role in the appropriateness of the moment.
Anything you can say after "I am"... is only an ego role description and identification. It is our work this moon to ferret out those beliefs and patterns that limit us with identifications that are limiting the expression of our expanded, Essential Selves.
Witness what is being brought to the surface about ego identifications and preferences, to be amplified so that we can SEE clearly what is coming from small mind to open to the TRUTH of our essential selves beyond any identification, so that we can play those roles in JOY without attachment to any of them.
The Wise Woman knows how to play any role that will assist a being in wakening. She gets the cosmic joke that there was never anything to struggle toward, that we were always whole and a part of Divine Oneness... and more importantly, she acts on that knowing, by using humor as consciousness lubricant... to free us from patterns that no longer serve us by bringing them into our awareness with laughter and light heartedness.
From the Initiator forward we move into the Transpersonal Witness and out of personal storyline. Here we begin to look at how to step more fully into the mythic BIG STORY of our lives!
If you feel called to continue to deepen with the following writing exercise, here are the steps & an audio recording for you to deepen with:
First Round of Writing on Roles.
What roles do you play in your life?
Begin by making a list of "I am" and filling in as quickly as you can, all the roles you hold and identify with.
Then include descriptors of aspects of your ego personality and qualities you feel you hold, like: I am compassionate. I am helpful. I am intelligent. I am kind. I am bitchy. (Shadow, too, if you want to name it.)
Then, answer the following question for each:
What is my attachment to that role description or identification?
Who would I be without it?
In this exercise, we open to beginning to see that the ego is nothing more than a description. We are generally slaves to that description, behaving as if that description constitutes our reality.
Next, dive deeper into working with the ego’s self important identifications and preferences.
Do a round of writing on
“I prefer"
Including tastes, attitudes, qualities in people etc.. Scan for your primary preferences.
What are the most frequent phrases you repeat to people?
...so that you will be seen in a certain light?...
What do you do or say to “insure” that people will like you?
On another piece of paper, make three columns.
In the first, begin to write a round on
“I strongly believe that..."
In a second column, write whatever would be the opposite of this belief.
Once you are complete with these two, listen to the audio attached here and begin to fill in the third column after receiving this audio.
Here is the Wise Woman's song to break any patterns of mental complexity that might arise when you realize you are taking things WAY TOO SERIOUSLY!
"Well I woke up this morning with a head full of rocks, There wasn't even half a space for any decent thoughts,
So i kicked that around awhile 'til i began to see,
That you just can't take this life too seriously!
'Cause too much thinkin's bound to make you crazy
Give you stomach troubles and make your vision hazy,
Won't somebody tell me how to turn off this brain
The journey would be quieter and I'd get there just the same!!!”
The Cheshire Cat is often a great totem animal for this moon. Notice how and where he begins to appear in your awareness!
The Alchemical Principle of this moon is Circulato Multiplicatio. The horizontal and projectio: the vertical aspects of Consciousness, shutter delicately into union, revealing the refined essence that is left after it the burned off dross of contractions, distortions, reactions, expanding potency, abundance and clarity moving into the the continuously circulating gold ouroborus of transmutation.
I SIMPLIFY. I RESONATE.
Priest/ess Practicum:
If it is in your joy, create a simple altar for Her to begin collecting images and totems for the Wise Woman. A black and white checkered altar cloth, a staff, crow or magpie or coyote as altar items, the geometry of the triple triangle etc., white Casablanca lilies.
Reinvent yourself this moon. Uma will be sending out more on this.
Look at identification with roles and the beliefs that maintain them. Give up tired stagnant role identifications. Trade them in for a more exciting one!
Deepen your relationship with the plant world in herbs this moon.
If appropriate, find a staff for your tool this moon.
Honor a crone in your life.
Sit with these inquiry questions in Empty Presence.
What in your life is calling you to simplify?
In what way do you still doubt yourself?
At what crossroads do you now sit?
