When we open to working with archetypes, the line between studying them intellectually and beginning to experience them viscerally often blurs.

Celebrate when you reach a point that the Mystery begins engaging with you, for this is a great initiation in itself.

Part of the magic is that as you seek, you shall discover—and with that, often your soul will lead you to uncharted territory within yourself, which might feel uncomfortable as you tiptoe into the realm of your own psyche.

If you need additional support along the way…if you reach a place inside you that feels tender or uncomfortable, here are some options for you:

1. Breathe & Celebrate-for this discomfort can be seen as growing pains! This is a great sign you’re meeting a growth edge.

2. Practice Empty Presence: this is why this practice is the primary skill of this lineage—so that you can become aware of yourself beyond the small self that might feel fear or discomfort by new awareness that’s arising.

3. Journal, Draw, Shake, Scream, Express what’s moving through you without the need to process it mentally. Use this opportunity to allow the energy to be energy without attaching to the story of it and see how you feel after you allow catharsis to take place.

4. Ask to be Witnessed by the Circle: part of the reason we do this exploration with a circle of beings is to learn how it feels to share authentically and trust that you are being held in a space where all is welcome. It’s also great practice to see what it feels like to be the clear mirror that is able to reflect without going into the habit of advising, fixing or taking on the other’s experience as your own. I will upload some meditations on this page to help with these practices in the coming days.

5. Ask for Support in a One-on-One Call: You will receive one one-on-one session per moon where you can explore the light & shadow qualities you chose for each month, as well as how each archetype is working with you. These sessions are a half hour long and will rotate back and forth between uMa & Greyson. If you need to go longer, it is an additional $50 per half hour.
